I have a yellow cheeked amazon who is 10 years old. Two weeks ago he swiped away from someone lap on his left wing and fell to the floor. Since then I have noticed he does not fly, if he tries he drops to the floor . Also he is sleeping all the time and showing no interest in anything going on around him which is most unusual. He is eating and drinking normally but has not shown any sign of molting this year at all also he does not like a spay/bath. He always flew about when let out of his cage but now he is not bothered on leaving his cage, and was also always very inquisitive and wanted to be in on what ever you was doing. When we get him out he will sit on your shoulder and still go to sleep. Also about 3 weeks ago he shedded an Aloevera plant.
