Hi Steve

thinking about my problem. i remembered that just before the lights came on, my speedometer went haywire for a few minutes and then settled down again. could this be connected ?

Expert:  Steve replied 3 years ago.

the speedometer is fed by one of the wheel speed sensors, through the abs module.

so, this could be the sensor failing, or the module. if it was just the sensor, I would expect a fault to be readable for that sensor.
