Bmw 320d accelerator moves slightly with clutch

Customer Question

BMW 320d 2007 plate. 130000 miles.     I notice a slight upward movement of the accelerator pedal as I raise the clutch.  This has only just happened, and is recurring. The clutch is original.  I notice no other effects, and the clutch and gear change is still smooth.  Is this something I should be concerned about?  What is likely to be the problem?
