i asume this is on the front balljoint.if so which one are they saying is faulty? the lower front or lower rear balljoint...

Hi..

Ok.. well there are two arms that have balljoints to the hub on the E90/1 - tension strut as they call it / lower rear front control arm..so price will differ across the two - depending on the manufacturer one in the region of £110 the other is around £83 mark.. both of which should be easily replaced by any competant garage - shouldnt take any more than a couple of hours labor time to be honest provided they actually diagnose the correct balljoint thats gone..so i should see the whole job being anymore then £150-£200 i would of thought..best to phone around local reputable garages for the best quote on the complete job inc parts and vat..
