I have a 2006 petrol auto 525. A couple of months ago both

Customer Question

Hi, I have a 2006 petrol auto 525. A couple of months ago both the coolant and oil warnings came on so I topped up both. Car was driving fine but the other day on the open road the engine overheating warning came on and I had to pull over and get it towed. I haven't got anyone to look at it yet but am worried that it could be head gasget or something equally disasterous. Is there anyway of ruling out worst case without spending a fortune?
