Resolved Question:

Hi Steve,
I have put a deposit on a 2005 BMW X3 manual diesel.
The car sales tyre centre has replaced just the two front tyres for MOT.
Is this correct? I am led to believe from numerous blogs that the different diameters can lead to problems with the driveline!
Do I need to insist all 4 tyres are changed?

I will provide an honest answer. I trust this will be appreciated. Please remember that a low rating PUNISHES me for being honest and that I receive nothing for my time until a positive rating is clicked.
Thank you for your attention to the rating requirement.
It depends how worn the rear tyres are/ if the diameter is off by much then yes it can cause issues and it is definitely ideal to replace all 4 at the same time
Please let me know if you have further questions. Please do not forget to click a positive rating as this is the only way I receive credit for my answer, thank you. Best wishes with your vehicle.
