My car keys got wet in a lake and now the aotatoc bleeper

Customer Question

My car keys got wet in a lake and now the aotatoc bleeper does not work. I have managed to open the door with the key but the alarm keeps going off. How do I switch off the alarm and how can I drive the car. It is a 2007 335 d estate.

Do you have a second key?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. But I have now driven the car using the manual key. The fob does not work at all apart from starting the engine.

I just need to get the fob working. Is there a way the get the battery charged or replaced to get the thing going?

what do you mean by "using the manual key" - do you mean using the blade key to start the car?

where are you inserting the metal blade to start the car?

I am not sure what you are describing because you have said that you have both used the manual key and also that The fob does not work at all apart from starting the engine.
