I have just installed a Pioneer 6500 DAB radio into an old

Customer Question

I have just installed a Pioneer DEH-X6600 DAB radio into an old car which had no previous radio installation, everythig works great but the DAB aerial, message says no signal. Having done some research over the internet am i right in believing aerial needs a 12v supply and is this the blue/white wire on the connector block, if this is the case can i connect the blue/white wire to the red 12v wire which is control by the ignition switch?

Welcome to Just answer, has this got a stuck on screen aerial or a magnetic roof aerial?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Stuck on screen aerial earthed to the car body

Thanks, ***** ***** fitting one of these a couple of months ago and had the same problem, if i remember there are around 5 DAB channels and what i did was to tune each one individually and then the error signal went and the DAB started working, please try this and let me know.
