RE Pioneer AVH4400BT double din head unit. Quite happy to interface

Customer Question

RE Pioneer AVH4400BT double din head unit. Quite happy to interface with my 4th gen iPod nano but if I connect my iPhone 5c using a lightning adapted, the screen goes haywire although the unit will play my music. Do I need to update the software in the head unit?

Hi there,

yes, it is likely that the software in the head unit is not compatible with the iPhone 5C.

You can download the software update from http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/support/software/AVH-4400BT/page.html
