Been away from my Toyota Prius hybrid since mid Dec..............

Customer Question

Been away from my Toyota Prius hybrid since mid Dec.............. now back today (late Feb.) and my remote fob will not open the vehicle, so I assume the problem is a flat car battery which is totally inaccessible to me, even when I slide the key out of the side of the fob and try it in the keyhole. so cannot charge battery/ies. What should I do? and where are the batteries? Help, please.

Hello.

What you need to do is have the vehicle recovered and taken to a specialist. Do not attempt to work on the electrical system on a hybrid vehicle without special tools and knowledge.

The electrical systems can be LETHAL to an untrained person.
