Hello, welcome. My name is Mike, I will do my very best to
assist you with your question.

Are there any warning lights coming on?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

no warning lights

Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 3 years ago.
The issue that you are describing is consistent with a failing throttle position sensor or the valve inside of the throttle body is starting to stick which is causing the sensor to not read correctly. The first step is to have the throttle body cleaned.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

how do I get access to the throttle body

Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 3 years ago.
The throttle body sits on top of the engine, however the best way to ensure it is cleaned is with a fuel induction service. The fuel induction service is performed at most shops and is a service that cleans the entire fuel system.
