as an 03 could be an early or later model, is the key a key with a button to press to lock and unlock the car? Or is it a card type key? Or do you have the registration of the car?

Hello again,

the battery replacement is pretty straightforward on this type.

First remove the emergency key from the card, once this is out you can remove the battery. Below is a diagram to assist you.

If the card needs programming then this has to be done using a suitable diagnostic tool.
