hi i have a vaxhall vivaro its bin fine until about a week ago it started to run like a bag of shit if u put it in forward gears it starts to miss fire and loose compression but if i run it in reverse its fine any ideas please

The most common reason for this to happen on these vehicles is a leak at the intake manifold, the manifold will suck air and cause this problem, the issue normally doesn't happen in reverse because there is more torque on the engine. What I would suggest as a next step is to have the manifold and gasket checked.
