I have a 2007 Mercedes ML 320cdi, which has a leak from around the crankshaft seal.
Can anyone advise me of the correct tool and where I can buy one, for locking the crankshaft pulley wheel, whilst I unbolt the 27mm nut?

What direction does the crankshaft unwind - clockwise or anticlockwise?

I've not done one for a while but I think its counter clockwise.
