Hi..

Hopefully i can help..

How bad is the wobble your refering too? any smoke out the tail pipe when this occurs?

Is it just at cold this happens or does it do it when warmed up etc?

Any issues with gear changing or vibrations through the clutch pedal etc?

Any warning lights or messages since this occurred?

Has anything been check already or inspected upto now?

Hi Robert thanks for replying,

Engine itself runs smoothly - no smoke.

Noise most noticeable at start up, sounds as if something external to engine knocking.

No clutch pedal on this model but knocking sound occurs with change of torque.

No warning lights or messages.

No checks made yet as have no-one available to operate controls whilst I observe in the engine compartment, just feel something may be loose or there is some common fault known.

I have been towing a caravan and this started to happen just as we got back home.

Hi..there thanks for your reply..

Ok..Givin what you have said there in regards ***** ***** no noticable issues as per engine management etc so we know the ecu isnt detecting anything and the fact the engine runs smooth/no smoke proves the engine isnt missfiring which was initially my thoughts when you mentioned it only started at start up the engine wobble..One thing you may want to have checked out would be the engine/transmission mounts..if the rubber mounts split in any of those can cause the engine to wobble and create a clunking when under throttle/or at start up..if you see the engine move about or rock too much then i would say that would be one of the areas to maybe have checked out as first step anyway..I do hope this helps
