do you mean engine management light?, if so it is on when it cuts out, regards

Expert:  Greg replied 3 years ago.
Hi Mike

Take the light is not ON when the engine is running

When the engine cut out its normal for the Check engine , battery ,oil light to come ON.

Okay i'm pretty sure you have a problem with the idle control system ,possible full of carbon deposits the throttle body needs removing and cleaned out with fuel injection cleaner spray.

If the clean out does not work then the idle control system will have to be checked .

Still having problem, then please get back to me for further assistance please use the reply button and not the poor or bad service ,this way i can get back to you or refer you to another expert if needed. After accepting you can still get back to me and there is no further charge

Kindest regards Greg.
