I have a 2005 peugeot sw 407. The electric cooling fan keeps

Resolved Question:

I have a 2005 peugeot sw 407. The electric cooling fan keeps coming on even when engine is cool. Runs for 15/20 mins then shuts off after stopping car. A new electric fan fitted last year and sensor.
Can I ignore this? I watch both temp guages both are normal.

My name is ***** ***** I hope to offer you some support on your problem.
The fact the fan is running is not necessarily a problem, the cooling fan not only cools the engine coolant it cools the air conditioning radiator too.
As long as the engine is running at normal temperature and there are no engine warning lights on it would seem to be running to cool the air conditioning circuit not the engine cooling.
If I can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to ask but remember you need to rate my answer or I don't get paid for my advice.
Best regards
