and thanks me to help you today. I am a licensed diagnostic and repair technician, I look forward to working with you.
This is usually just a blown fuse but before checking the fuse, if you haven't already try another appliance in case it's the appliance and not thew socket that is faulty. Next take a look inside the sockets to ensure nothing has broken off or got stuck in the socket. Also check the cigarette lighter on the dash stuck inside it.The fuses are located in the dashboard main fuse box - This is below the steering column behind the drivers dash panel. There are two fuses - Fuse 7 (20/25 Amp) and 12 (15Amp) Check and replace as necessary (see diagram below )
I have checked the fuses which are both ok
i have checked both fuses and both are ok
have you any other suggestions?
do you know if the cigarette light is working?
yes it is ok
Ah ok. Ideally you need to check the power supply if not already done using a multimeter. If there is power, it will be a faulty socket, they seem to break quite easily so this is quite likely. If there is no power to the socket the wiring needs to be inspected, checking it back to the fascia fuse box
will do as you suggest but this will take time..how can i reach you tomorrow?
Just come back here. It will be in Q&A Mode so you can just post a reply and I will get back to you ASAP.
