Depends on the type of fault and the fault codes that being listed you dont mention that - the abs light can come on for many varied reasons..normally it the most common wheel speed sensor or the target ring in which the wheel sensor a wiring fault from the sensors back to the even faulty brake switch/ tyres can also play a part to due to rotaional speed differances/ or as you have mentioned a fault abs unit/control unit/module......It might be worth looking into the possibiliy of actually get the abs unit repaired "if its at fault" - there are places online that might be able to help with that if you contact them.. they will be under if you search "bba reman" ... normally most garage besides the dealer do that..unless they fit a second hand unit..but as above in regards ***** ***** light coming on then are alot of reason for that but normally when the abs light comes on it stores fault codes to help diagnose or locate even the fault...sometimes it might need to be test driven whilst testing to record/live data to see if the fault is picked up
