no voltage at battery

Hi Churm .

You must have voltage at the battery even if its 12 volts .

Akay with a volt meter set to 20volts connect to the battery post ,a good battery will have 12.6 volts if fully charged .
If you have 12.2 and below the battery needs charging .

Now when the engine is running you should have 14+/-4 volts with a good alternator ..

Do this and let me know what voltage readings you have .

Voltage at battery 12.4 , battery alternator feed into battery none , battery loses power when driving, have to recharge battery when power drops..

Hi .

With your voltmeter check at the back of the alternator for voltage when the engine is running , should have 14volts +/-4 .
The red cable that is on the back of the alternator and ground is where you connect, if you still have battery power then replace this alternator, its also bad .
