Any ideas as to cause as am now loathe to spend more money for nothing?

Ok - thank you ..Can you tell me if the fuel system has been tested - properly , for fuel pressure ... not with plug in / as in fault code reading ...but with an actual gauge...?
Expert:  Mike replied 1 year ago.
If thats not been done - that would be your next step...but - ensure you renew the fuel filter if you havent already - first, before the test...
Expert:  Mike replied 1 year ago.
A faulty or iffy pump can cause this.. if the fuel pressure is hit and miss it will cause it for sure - and it wont come up on a fault code check neceserrily.Given all that you have said - Its looking like a faulty pump - or , restriction in the lines so again - new filter...check the lines are clean -and then pressure test it. and then go from there with the results of that -

Let me know how you go..and / or let me know if you need anything further on this..~~~~ Meantime - Please do click on the "Exc / Ok rating" for me at this time.. "Thank you" in advance for that ... Note that you can get back to me anytime at all after doing the rating - it doesn't close you out.-- Best Rgds, MIKE.
