Customer Question

Focus tdci 1.8 2006 when at optimum running temp stop the car put it in neutral and as soon as you lift the clutch up it feels/sounds like there is a engine missfire, but to stop this misfire all you have to do is the push the clutch back down and then engine runs sweet again.

Just to confirm, the clutch and flywheel were replaced to cure this problem and the problem still persists? or was the clutch changed at an earlier time? Thanks, Ross

Clutch and flywheel both replaced at the same time thinkwit would cure this problem

*thinking it would cure the problem but it hasnt. Cant think what else it could be.would transmission have anything to do with it?Does the clutch/flywheel have any influence on the actual running of the engine/injectors?Would the opening /closing of the egr valve have anything to do with clutch?
