2006 Kawasaki Er6f 6,400 miles on clock - just developed throttle hesitation and surge in low revs. Runs fine if I keep the revs high. What causes this?

Hello I'd check the connection of the MAP sensor on the air box this is fed with a small diameter pipe that plugs onto the sensor , check that the pipe isn't blocked and or cracked and the electrical connector is also in good condition
