Customer Question

My 2009 Toyota Yaris Diesel D4D's heater no longer works. Upon start up liquid can be heard running through pipes somwhere behind the dashboard. Do I need a new heater matrix, or is this just an airlock? In which case can the system be bled? Either way what would be youe estimated cost of repair?

Name is***** goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have gotten anything less, please reply back,
I suggest you first check the coolant level .
When you start to hear coolant flow behind the dash then you have low coolant.
If coolant level is good have the shop check the thermostat it could be stuck in the open position .
This is a quick check and test and should not call more than 1 hrs labour.
Worst case would be a stuck heat control door that is stuck on cool air flow .
Need any follow up help then please get back to me with the reply button, and not the poor or bad service.
This way i can get back to you or suggest another expert if needed.
