I have recently purchased a 2009 Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdi van.
Malfunction indicator lamp has illuminated and DTC PO238 is indicated.
What is the problem?

The fault appeared out of blue and is continuous.
Only had vehicle since weekend so can't say for sure if any power loss. It does feel like it has.

Hi mike good evening to youOk the fault code p0238 relates to
Sensor (A) Circuit High Input is present
This is caused by an issue with the turbo boost solenoid or wiring or vacuum issue within the turbo systemThe turbo boost solenoid provides a vacuum to the turbo in order to work the variable geometry turboThe first check would be a visual inspection of the vacuum hoses and electrical connections on the turbo and boost solenoidKind regards ***** *****
