Mazda 3 diesel 1.6 2010. When accelerating from slow motion

Resolved Question:

Mazda 3 diesel 1.6 2010. When accelerating from slow motion quickly engine suddenly stops. On restart engine starts normally. Has been on computer but no fault code.
Assistant: Thank you. Can you provide any more details to help us find you the right Expert?
Customer: Engine accelerates to about 2500 rpms and then just stops running, no extra sounds or anything like that. This happens on quick accelerating, when accelerating slowly engine takes normally 4000 prms or so.

By the sounds of your description..its sounds like fuel starvation problem..normally that wouldnt really give a code hence why you havent had any codes to get when plugged say the first logical step from here would be to get the fuel filter changed with a genuine one from the dealer...once they have the old filter out they can inspect the inside of the old one for likely metal filings that may give a clue as to likely fuel pump problems..if its clean then you shouldnt have any thing to worry about in that as above considering you havent mentioned it being done upto this say try a fuel filter change and then see if that helps solves the issue..normally thats the first area as far checks or replcements goes with similiar problems like this. and not too expensive either....I do hope this helps
