My d5 keeps flashing up 'coolant low' but it's not

Resolved Question:

My d5 keeps flashing up 'coolant low' but it's not overheating, the water goes down in the expansion bottle but as soon as you release the cap it comes back up! I have changed the thermostat and water pump but it still does it.

suggestions??
Expert:  Greg replied 10 months ago.

When filling this system with coolant did you bleed the system .

you must bleed it or all the water will be sucked in to the engine from the expansion bottle

as it has a air lock in the system .

Do this then please get back to me .
