Is this a ventricular aneurysm?

just been told that its behind the heart along with a blood clot,they couldn,t see it properly with the angiogram,so they are going in again on monday using the left groin

These are generally treated with anticoagulation

Blood thinners for a period of time

yes,but i thought aneurysms always needed surgery once they got to a certain size,but thats always been aortic aneurysms,never heard of one in that area,thankyou.

is the aneurysm in the aorta or is it in the heart.

If this is a thoracic aortic aneurysm in the vessel behind the heart, the treatment is surgery when it gets big enough

usually around 5 to 5.5 cm depending on the situation

however, there are a lot of minimally invasive techniques being developed
