I have a bicuspi aortic valve,

Resolved Question:

I have a bicuspid aortic valve, found by chance due to family history. I am having abdominal surgery I March and having not seen a cardiologist until April am I putting myself any more danger than before I knew about it. I was told the aorta was slightly enlarged but don't think there is any regurgitation coz a heart murder has never been picked up.
