My 85 year old Mum who was previously well and fully mobile

Customer Question

my 85 year old Mum who was previously well and fully mobile has recently been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and hypertension. She has been started on many new medications along with longer standing medications, Since being started on the new meds her condition has worsened. Previously she was fully mobile and went out each day on her own Now she has become housebound complaining of feeling generally unwell, breathless and has no appetite along with feeling unsteady. Have you any ideas what could be the cause? Thank you.
