Here's an extract from my EP's letter:
"[David] came to the lab in an atrial tachycardia and this proved to be roof dependent atrial tachycardia that was easily ablated and sinus rhythm restored."
Not having come across this term before I'm keen to know how it differs from other forms of atrial tachycardia.

This just means that the atrial tachycardia originates from the top of the atrium

many atrial tachs actually come from the pulmonary vein

They usually do a PVI (pulmonary vein isolation)

when it comes from the roof, it is much easier to get to
