I am sorry to hear you are worried about your cat's sight.
My name isXXXXX am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help.
What is she dong that makes you think she is myopically challenged? Is she bumping into things? Can't find her food and water bowls?
No cat can focus on near things. They have distance vision, but cats can't focus on things that are right in front of them. Is she losing her distance vision now?
The best way to help her sight is to find out what is wrong.
The most common reason for older cats to lose their vision are high blood pressure, and cataracts.
If she has high blood pressure, and it is identified and treated, sometimes they can get their vision back.
The only treatment for cataracts is the same for people: cataract surgery.
I am not seeing responses from you. I hope you can see what I am writing!
I will try another way to connect with you if I do not hear from you soon.
