I am sorry to hear what happened to MommaKat.
My name is Rebecca. I am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help.
What part of her body are the stitches? Some parts can be bandaged, but it is hard to keep bandages on other parts.
If the stitches are on her body, a little tee shirt or body stocking might work. If it is a leg, then it can be bandaged.
I see; it is her hind leg.
If it is at the knee or lower, a bandage should work.
If it is up by the hip, that is a hard place to keep a bandage on.
You can try the small Tee shirt, put on backwards over the hind legs, and tied in a knot around her waist.
I hope you can see what I am writing!
I am not seeing responses from you.
It is both on the back of her hip & on the under side of her belly towards her anus.
Sorry I'm a slow typist.
That is fine, take your time! Just wanted to be sure you were seeing what I am writing.
Those are not easy areas to bandage at all. The backwards Tee shirt would work better.
Yes thank you - I have a cream from the vet - if I put this on slint inside the shirt ?
Yes, I would put the cream on and then put on the Tee shirt.
My daughter suggested a newborn baby grow!!!
What is a newborn baby grow?
If it fits over the hind end and she can't get it off, that may work.
Sorry, I know very little about newborn babies!
A 'onsie' for a newborn baby!
That might work. You will have to cut a hole for the tail area.
She may not like wearing these things much.
The tee shirt may be easier to get on so I'll go & try that. Thank you for your advice.
There are collars that are inflatable donuts that also might work better than the cone.
Is there anything else I can help with, or answer?
I don't think so - I will look for the inflatable collar. Thank you.
You are welcome!

I will be checking back, to see how she is doing/
