Customer:

Hi

Customer:

Thank you

Scott Nimmo :

Please tell me how long this tick like object has been visible?

Customer:

1 month

Scott Nimmo :

Ticks will fall off after five days or so, this confirms you are not dealing with a tick, on the other hand very often various non malignant lumps, bumps and cysts can occur in this area.

Scott Nimmo :

The problem is that removal will often mean a minor surgery session as there are really no alternatives such as drugs etc.

Scott Nimmo :

Most of the lesions such as you describe which I have seen in the past were non malignant usually soft warty type structures but there is always the possibility that the odd one could be malignant so it is always best to have your vet check it over

Scott Nimmo :

Your vet will advise on removal, this is not something you will be able to do on your own ...

Scott Nimmo :
I hope I have covered your question fully enough but if you would like further clarification or to talk things over a bit more then I will be on-line for the next hour or so and I will be more than pleased to continue working with you.

Regards,

Scott.
