I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner, Pida. I'm having difficulty understanding your post. Can you clarify "...if is other mark for same diet..." for me, please? There are diets equivalent to the Royal Canin which come as dry/crumbles/granules/kibbles.

Hello,
can I buy other mark food for Pida, for example PURINA Veterinary Diet UR ST/OX (Urinary Formula) Formula Cat Food - Chicken Dry or 1.5kg c/d Urinary Stress Hill's Prescription Diet Dry Cat Food. Im ask because doctor recomended where is S/O. Other marks doesnt have S/O.Thank you
Expert:  Dr. Michael Salkin replied 2 months ago.

You certainly can. Any of those diets would be helpful. Please note, however, that feeding wet food is ideal because it increases water intake and thus dilutes the urine of noxious substances. Please continue our conversation if you wish. I have to leave my computer for a few hours but I promise to reply as soon as I return if need be.

Good Morning,
I tried to get wet food, but Pida is ability doesn't eat until he gets dry food. Do you have some recommend, how to put wet food, or recommend me another food. Pida drinks a lot.Thank you
Expert:  Dr. Michael Salkin replied 2 months ago.

We can't force a cat to eat wet food. You might try warming it up in the microwave prior to offering it to Pida. It's good to hear that he drinks a lot.

Can I dip the dry food for example, water or clear chicken soup?
Expert:  Dr. Michael Salkin replied 2 months ago.

I like that idea...chicken broth or tuna juice are good choices.

Can I ask existing some vaccine for urinary tract - prevention against stones. Can be an applied for any age cat.Thank you
Expert:  Dr. Michael Salkin replied 2 months ago.

There are no vaccines that can prevent stones. Diluting the urine by feeding wet food or wetting dry food; encouraging drinking by using a water fountain, offering filtered water rather than tap water, flavoring the water with ice cubes made from tune or clam juice, providing water in more than one location can be helpful.
