no change to volume/sound still the same carol XXXX

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
ok, we will need to reset the phone Carol.

This is going to remove all your data and return the phone to new, but there is no way to avoid this sorry.

To do this, remove the battery and put it back in so the phone is off.

Press and hold the Volume up and Power buttons until the Android recovery menu appears on the screen.

Scroll to wipe data/factory reset by pressing the Volume down button.

Press the Power button.

Scroll to Yes -- delete all user data by pressing the Volume down button.

Press the Power button.

The phone will now wipe all contents.

Press the Power button.
The phone will now reboot to the initial setup screen.

Set up the phone like you did when you first received it and tell me if the volume is now working correctly please Carol.

Thank you

Richard
