my 7oc cobalt doesnt recognize my password ***** there is nothing on the page to help me . i havent used it for several months can you help please

i WANT to go to factory reset but i cant do that because there is NOTHING on the screen the tablet switches off after 10 seconds
there is no menu NOTHING ON THE SCREEN IS box to type in password ***** i'm told wrong passwoed then it switches off
