Hi, I have a laptop (HP Pavilion dv7) and I want to add a second

Customer Question

Hi, I have a laptop (HP Pavilion dv7) and I want to add a second hard drive. There seems to be a bay already inside for it but it has no connection system such as cabling. What do I need to buy to do this if it is possible? Are there any limitations on the hard drive that I can put in? I do a lot of photography at 30 MB per Raw file plus identifying jpeg image which then leads to a Photoshop file of ~200 MB so was tending towards a Western Digital of 2TB size.
Any Help appreciated ([email protected])

Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

Ys it can be done, but the hard drive goes in a caddy, that slides into the bay

The Caddy you can purchase from here

It comes with everything you need to do this (apart from the actual hard drive)
