Have a new Asus W8 PC and have installed a pair of TRUST.com

Customer Question

Have a new Asus W8 PC and have installed a pair of TRUST.com speakers which are not functioning correctly. the sound starts correctly then after 2-3 minutes sputters and chokes. this happens whether I am using iTunes within my system or Youtube online.

Have you tried starting the Machine in Safemode to see if you still have an issue?

Please do this


1) If the Machine is on Power it Off
2) Power the Machine on
3) As soon as it comes on Tap F8 >Keep Tapping
4) The advanced Boot Menu will come up
5) Scroll down to "safemode with networking" Press Enter

Let me know if the problem Still happend in Safemode

I tried 3 times to shut down and the open in safe mode without success.


I was tapping F8 continuously but it always opened into the password but I still kept tapping F8 but opened as normal.


the sound disruption is immediate now , distorted and intermittent

Ok try this Way

At the Start screen type msconfig.

Launch System Configuration from the list of search results, then select its Boot tab.

You can check a box to enable Safe boot, with various different types of Safe mode available below. Click Ok, then click Restart

frankly having just bought this W8 for my wife I just cannot find anything that you ask, I use A mac and was on XP like my wife. I Know where msconfig was on XP but just spent 15 mins here and no luck. a complete mystery.

Press the Windows Key and R

and Type Msconfig in the Run box
