Hello and thank you for using this service,

I think your question may have been cut off. Please tell me in detail the error message, and where/when you are getting it.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Hi, the till starts up, the widows logo pops in for a second and then it just goes to the black screen with white letters. When I try to disable automatic restart it shows the error message: stop: 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x8a7c08b0, 0xc0000102, 0x00000000)

The blue screen also tells me: if this us first time I see this stop error I should just restart the t computer. If not: disable or uninstall any anti virus, disk disk defragmentation or back up utilities. Check hard drive config., check for updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F then restart.
No idea how to do it.
Help, need this sorted before 7 am so I can open the shop. Please

With this type of problem , you'll need a working CD drive to boot from on the computer, or you'll have to physically remove the hard drive and mount to another computer (preferably also running Windows XP). I'm assuming this is a desktop (not laptop) computer.

This is out till in the shop. Desktop touchscreen. I don't see anything apart from small 'pocket' on the top left corner in which there us a small thin thing -it might be hard drive. I tried to take it out but it is kind of blocked and I don't want to damage anything.
I have no idea what to do.
