Cannot connect my netgear extension,please help.

To clarify, you got a new router and now you cannot connect to the netgear to set it up for this new router?

Yes that's correct

ok, you need to reset the Netgear so it is returned to new.

On the netgear you will see a reset button.

You may need a paperclip, and with it powered on, hold the reset button down for 15 seconds, then release.

Let it reset and once it has, the Netgear is returned to new.

You can then access and set it up like you did when you first received it.

Have tried SS ID as login key as password still doesn't work

Admin is the username and password is the password Richard.

SSID is your network name, this is different.
