I have a HP PAVILIAN P6-2469 Desktop. The computer runs WINDOWS 8.1. It is all set up and runs very well except for the SDHC CARD PLAYER which will either operate when it feels like it. But most of the time no Action at all. Perhaps you can help. Mike

Have you tried it in another USB port

It is not attached to a USB port. The drive is fitted on the front of the computer with the slot for SDHC cards there.
