My pioneer X- SMC3 will not find my BT home hub 4.0 via wireless.

Customer Question

My pioneer X- SMC3 will not find my BT home hub 4.0 via wireless.
When searching for a wireless network it does not appear but next doors wireless does so it is searching. The router is only a few metres away and I have tried multiple locations.

Strangely it did find and connect once but then would not find it again.

I have even manually entered the networt details and it confirms settings updates but the no connection appears.

What can you recommend?

Please, tell me the full brand and model name of your wireless router.

It is the standard equipment issues by BT for BT infinity. It is the BT home hub 4.0 combined with the following router...

Huawei Echolife HG612

Firmware version: V100R001C01B028SP10
