Hi


I have a samsung laptop model NP355V5C


have recently upgraded from windows 8 to 8.1 and have lost wifi access


 


The wifi network adapter is qualcomm atheros AR9485WB-EG

Can you go to Device Manager and check the network adapters are there, and/or for any problematic device? Thank you

I have gone to device manager looked at the adapters


it appears to be all in order


The status is showing device is working properly

yes have restated numerous times and have tried on numerous wif connections


currently back at home and my other wifi devices are working perfectly


Yes the wifi key is Fn F12


have tried toggling it on and off


network sharing center is showing i am not connected to any networks


 


bottom icon is showing not connected - connections are available


but i cannot see any wifi networks

comes up with an error once trying to install


samsnug_software_manager (yes they have spelt it wrong)

have downloaded sw update and transferred it over but states that it needs to be connected to internet

- Go to the Store app from the Start screen, then search for Samsung and/or Samsung Setting, then download / install it, and run it to check/troubleshoot.
