I have a d link AC1750 and I have connected it to my netgear adsl modem router but I canot connect to the internet
can you please help me?

ok, I am doing this step by step with you Peter, so bear with me as we need to get the Dlink setup as a wireless access point (as you have two routers).

Remove the Dlink, so you have internet via the netgear only.

Then click start, type in CMD and press enter

In the black window, type in IPCONFIG

Press enter and tell me your IP Address please.

Now what you need to do on the Dlink is the following.

First, disable the DHCP server on it.

Once disabled, set the LAN IP as 192.168.0.241

Set the WAN IP as 193.193.193.193

Save this.

Then connect the netgear to one of the LAN ports on the Dlink, not the Internet Port, this remains unplugged.

Once done, connect to the Dlink and tell me if you now get internet via it.
