My ipod is locked out of wifi when i go to settings the wifid

My ipod is locked out of wifi when i go to settings the wifid has a padlock it then asks for my password XXXXX insert but always comes bac you have no connection

I'm sorry about the issue. Was it working previously? Please try the following:

1. Disconnect the power cord(s) from your internet/wireless/wifi modem/router devices for about 5 minutes, then reconnect.

2. On the iPod, press and hold both the Power (On / Off) button and the Home button (which is located right below the screen) together for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears, then wait a bit

, then please go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset network settings. Then go to Settings, Wi-Fi, then connect to your wi-fi/wireless network name and check.

 

Note: if you do not remember your wireless/wifi/security password/key, please let me know.

What exactly happens when when you install the join.me program after downloading it?

Do you see the join.me program on your computer now (check on the Desktop or from Start->All programs)?
