Q.1 No I do not have a BT connection

Was the kindle working previously with your wireless modem?Can you please check at the back/bottom of your wireless modem device for the brand/model of it?Please reply at the box below. Thank you.
Thank you. Please try a possible fix below:1. Disconnect the power cord from your TalkTalk wireless modem for a few minutes, then reconnect.2. If you have any cover / case on the kindle, please remove it for now. Then press & hold the power on/off button on the kindle for about 45 seconds, then turn it back on.3. Then go to Wi-Fi setting on the kindle, then see if your wireless network name shows up now, then select it and connect.When you are available, please click on the Reply to Expert tab below, and reply back to me, so we can continue. Your advice worked up to a point ie talktalk.co.uk was in my settings. However, I could not log in because my password ***** unacceptable and I do not know how I can change it (or which password ***** refers to).
Our talktalk modem is connected via a BT openreach modem, I am not sure if this makes a difference?
Can you offer any further help?
