I have a newMG6650 printer connected wirelessly to my hub. The blue light remains on constantly. Every morning the printer does not respond to printing requests and the only way I can get it to print is by disabling my IPv6 address (as advised by Canon support). What is wrong here before I go off and buy a cable? Regards ***** ***** have done a factory reset of the lan settings. Also, when I try to update the firmware from the printer, I get a message saying unable to access the internet.

I have just attached my printer to the pc by cable. Shall I disconnect this for the purpose of what you are about to do?
