please let me know if you have windows or macos on the computers you are using with the bt hub and printer
ok.. and when you say you have had to restart bt home hub, please let me know that did you get a message to restart the hub or it restarted on its own automatically
I had no message but pressed the restart button on the back of the hub and the printing commenced after retarting
ok and have you had to do this each time you want to print
or for the first print
after which it printed fine rest of the day
No, after closing down either during the day or overnight
it seems that the printer , home hub and computer went out of sync for the wifi connection

now follow the below steps
turn off both computers, ipad, printer and bt home hub
you need to turn them on as per below sequence
computers first, followed by ipda
once they are on, turn on bt hub
once connected to internet, turn on printer\
then try printing and let me know if you are able to print fine or face a problem

I carried your suggestion yesterday and everything seemed to be OK, even to the extent of turning the commuter off for an hour, turning back on and then printing the same document. No problem.
I tried the same this morning, nothing happened until I restarted the BT Hub and then the printer carried out the printing as required. Any further suggestions.
please change the password ***** your bt hub..then on your printer got setup..wlan setup and add the access point again with the new password
once done check if problem continues or goes away
