I have a Bose sound touch wi fi on my I pad. For some reason I can not use it. I tried to bring it back into action by re entering again but will not come on line. I have spotify and that is fine. Wi fi signal is fine.

Please try the following to resolve this issue, first reset your iPad network settings, then reconnect to wifi and reset the Bose by: performing a product reset.

Follow the instructions below to reset your iPad's network settings:

Step 1:
Tap Settings.

Step 2:
Tap General.

Step 3:
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Reset.

Step 4:
Tap Reset Network Settings.

Step 5:
You will get a prompt warning you that this option will delete all network settings and return them to factory default settings. Tap Reset to continue.

Step 6:
Wait while your iPad resets its network settings.

Once the reset process is done, your network settings will return to its factory default settings. Your iPad will also automatically restart. Try reconnecting your iPad to the network again.

To perform a SoundLink® speaker reset, following these steps:

  1. On the speaker, press and hold Mute for 10 seconds, the LEDs will flash briefly

  2. Press Power to turn the SoundLink® speaker back on

Clear the pairing list on both the SoundLink® Wireless Mobile speaker and the source

  1. On the SoundLink® speaker, press and hold the Bluetooth® button for approximately 10 seconds until you hear a tone. The SoundLink® speaker clears all Bluetooth® devices from its memory and becomes discoverable

  2. Clear the list on your Bluetooth® device. For more information, please refer to the manufacturer of the device

  3. Perform a product reset. On the speaker, press and hold Mute for 10 seconds, the LEDs will flash briefly. Press Power to turn the SoundLink® speaker back on

  4. Try pairing the device again by following these steps:

    1. With the Bluetooth® device and the SoundLink® speaker both turned on, press and hold the Bluetooth® button on the speaker for three seconds to make the speaker discoverable. The Bluetooth® indicator will slowly fade on and off approximately once every second to show the speaker is in discoverable mode

    2. Set your Bluetooth® device to "Discoverable." This will allow your device to discover the SoundLink® speaker

    3. On your device, locate the Bluetooth® device list. Select "Bose SoundLink" from the list

    4. If your device asks for a passkey, enter digits 0000 and press OK. Some devices also ask you to accept the connection. YourBluetooth® device indicates when pairing is complete. The SoundLink® speaker indicates pairing is complete when theBluetooth indicator stops fading on and off and remains on
